WHY DO DIETS FAIL US?

The current high levels of obesity have made weight control a major health priority throughout North America. At the same time, statistics show that average weight loss for dieters on conventional diets amounts to a mere 5-8 pounds per annum. Why is dieting so difficult? According to a new survey (1), there are three reasons. We don't have a sufficiently powerful incentive; we let ourselves go hungry; and we don't deal effectively with "bad days".
The new weight loss survey asked dieters to identify the three biggest obstacles they faced when following a calorie-controlled eating plan. The most popular replies were:
- Inadequate incentive to lose weight (75 percent)- Hunger (70 percent)- Bad days (69 percent)

We need to address these obstacles in order to accomplish our goals. Skinny is not as important as healthy and being overweight is NOT healthy!

Wow! I also found a new tip that helps a LOT!!! Drink water or ice water whenever you get a craving for junk food. It not only makes the craving go away, it can make you feel fuller before you start one of the four meals on this program . I have lost another five pounds! I will start posting pics when I get back from Thanksgiving and am at my own computer again.

Weight Loss basics

Greetings fellow bloggers, weight loss is a touchy subject and full of contraversy and contradictions. I have three children and have successfully lostr weight after the first two because I was young, in the Army (therfore exercising) and very active. However, I am now 36 and just had number three so I am struggling a little and decided to seek out others who struggle and also keep sort of a journal of my journey. Please enjoy the information I post as I keep you updated on my progress and please bring your own tips and tricks to the table so that we may ALL be successful in our fat burning journey!

Here's a tip that makes sense to me:

"How much of what you eat is out of boredom? Many people
get into the bad habit of snacking because it's a quick
response to being bored, not because they're hungry.
Next time you reach for a bag of Cheetoes, wait a good
ten minutes before giving in. If the bag of goodies is still
calling your name, fine. But chances are, the 10-minute
wait time will have you closing the cupboard door and
walking away."

Tell me what you think!

Also, if you are the type who hates diets that make you have smaller portions and count calories, I am totally in agreement. A friend recently turned me on to this product and I bought it a week ago and I have lost eleven pounds and it is very loose and casual. I reccommend it. I will also be trying some more products and passing on my reviews.

http://www.dietingfordummies.websitewizard.com/ I give it 3.75 stars out of 4

My only point off was for the price but the program actually works. Also I think it is bootlegged but I'm not complaining because that usually means it's less expensive than the original. So maybe I shouldn't complain about the price?!! :)

Please try it and tell me what you think! Did it work for you too? If not, what does?
